Rinkēvičs tweeted: "Taking into account the escalation of the situation, I am repeatedly asking Latvian residents not to go to Ukraine and those already there to leave the country as soon as possible. If the situation gets worse, then the Foreign Ministry will have difficulty providing help, it might even be impossible."

A similar alert was distributed by the Foreign Ministry on February 11.
Rinkēvičs also pointed to the possible false flag operation in Donbas, Ukraine, urging the West to counter the Russian aggression.
Seems that false flag operation has been launched by #Russia in #Donbass #Ukraine, propaganda channels in Russia getting hysteric. I commend #Ukraine for the restraint but it is time for the West to help Ukraine to counter Russian aggression not only in words but also in deeds
