From 8 to 14 August the Latvian National Guard teamed up with brothers-in-arms from the US' Michigan National Guard and the Lithuanian National Guard in and around Engure and Tukums districts for the drills, which involved nearly 800 participants.
The training aimed to develop command and control capabilities plus defensive combat and also featured support from a Latvian Mi-17 helicopter.
Now a gallery of what they got up to has been posted online which can be viewed HERE.
The Latvian National Guard is currently celebrating 25 years since its formation.
