The Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communication Center of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) has another in its ongoing series of online discussions taking place February 17, this time with Japan the center of attention.

"With the rise of China, mounting hybrid security tensions in the Asia-Pacific region, and the increasingly widening North Korean missile and nuclear programme, the case for Japan to develop a comprehensive policy and institution for Strategic Communications seems self-evident," says advance publicity for the event.

Titled "Japan's Approach to Strategic Communications", speakers will be Kyoko Kuwahara - Research Fellow at the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA), and Nancy Snow - Professor of Public Diplomacy at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies in Japan.

You can watch the discussion and submit questions via STRATCOMCOE's Facebook and YouTube accounts.
