Take note – story published 2 years ago

The Rīga-based NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) returns April 14 with an exciting-sounding discussion of what it calls 'COVID-19 vaccine wars'.

"This episode of #StratComTalks will examine how major powers are transforming vaccine diplomacy into a strategic instrument. Senior experts from Carnegie Europe and the European Union Institute for Security Studies will discuss China, Russia and Western countries’ approach to the COVID-19 vaccine crisis, from procurement to rollout and the battle of narratives," advance material says.

Speakers will be Alice Ekman (visiting scholar at Carnegie Europe), Stanislav Secrieru (Senior Analyst at EUISS), and Allison Carragher (Senior Analyst at EUISS), with the moderator for the session being Yves Desbiens of NATO STRATCOMCOE itself.

The discussion will be livestreamed 16:00 Rīga time on STRATCOMCOE's YouTube channel and Facebook page.
