Rīga STRATCOMCOE annual event coming up

Take note – story published 4 years ago

NATO's Rīga-based Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence (STRATCOMCOE) stages its annual conference next week, though in fairness it is a bit more interesting and dynamic than most large-scale gatherings covering similar topics.

Known as the Ŗiga StratCom Dialogue it will take place at the Latvian National Library June 11 and 12 and the full program is now available to read online.

You will be able to follow the event live on LSM, too.

"This year, we ask how we can update strategic communications for the 21st century. Not fearing the future but making ample use of the opportunities it might offer. Be part of the conversation and join us at this year’s Riga StratCom Dialogue!" say organizers.

Each year, the strategic communications community comes together in Rīga to learn from colleagues’ experience and explore the newest findings in disinformation research, digital behavior, hostile influence activities, and effective responses to these challenges.

Last year’s conference gathered more than 700 strategic communications experts from 42 countries around the world. This year there will be an arena for networking and learning and workshops dedicated to digital forensics, information environment assessment, and future-proofing of communication efforts.

STRATCOMCOE also has a new podcast on offer which should be well worth a listen to get you in the mood.
