47 municipalities may open schools next week

Pupils from grades 1-4 will be able to learn onsite in 47 municipalities where the cumulative incidence rate is currently below 220, according to the information published by Disease Prevention and Control Center (SPKC) March 24.

Starting Monday, March 29, pupils will be able to go to school in these municipalities:

  1. Aizpute municipality
  2. Aloja municipality
  3. Alsunga municipality
  4. Amata municipality
  5. Ape municipality
  6. Auce municipality
  7. Beverīna municipality
  8. Burtnieki municipality
  9. Cēsis municipality
  10. Dundaga municipality
  11. Durbe municipality
  12. Garkalne municipality
  13. Iecava municipality
  14. Jaunjelgava municipality
  15. Jaunpiebalga municipality
  16. Jēkabpils city
  17. Kandava municipality
  18. Kārsava municipality
  19. Kocēni municipality
  20. Koknese municipality
  21. Krustpils municipality
  22. Līgatne municipality
  23. Mazsalaca municipality
  24. Mālpils municipality
  25. Nīca municipality
  26. Pāvilosta municipality
  27. Pļaviņas municipality
  28. Priekuļi municipality
  29. Rauna municipality
  30. Ropaži municipality
  31. Rucava municipality
  32. Rundāle municipality
  33. Salacgrīva municipality
