Two Latvian universities ranked 201-300 in the world in sustainability

According to the world university sustainability ratings published April 21, The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, University of Latvia (LU) and Rīga Technical University (RTU) have ranked top 201-300.

The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings are global performance tables that assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 

The 2021 Impact Rankings include 1,115 universities from 94 countries/regions.

From Latvia, the rankings included University of Latvia (LU), Rīga Technical University (RTU), Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU), Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (LLU), and Liepāja University.

LU and RTU ranked 201-300 across the overall ratings. According to individual criteria, the highest single rank was achieved by RTU, 64th position in Climate Action, as well as 82nd position in Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.
