To recycle the Xmas tree, it must be free of all decorations and removed from the pot or any other container it has stood in.
Waste manager CleanR customers can request the collection of their tree on the self-service portal manai.videi.lv or by calling 67111001 or writing to [email protected]. Multi-apartment house residents must turn to the house manager, whereas private house owners should make the requests themselves. The tree must be left outside the garbage containers before collection. CleanR will ensure free collection of Christmas trees until the end of January.
Customers of Eco Baltia vide must bring their tree to the waste recycling points:
- Salaspils, Rīgas Street 115k;
- Ādaži, "Kadagas attīrīšanas ietaises";
- Liepāja, Ezermalas Street 11;
- Saldus, "Zemgaļi".
Eco Baltia vide will also accept individual requests. Multi-apartment house residents must turn to the house manager, whereas private house owners should make the requests themselves.
Waste managers collect trees up to 2.5 meters in height. If the tree is taller it must be chopped up or brought to a collection point.
