The Big Cleanup is taking place for the 14th consecutive year in Latvia. In view of assembly restrictions, it is called upon residents to take on individual cleanups rather than participate in major organized ones, with a slogan "Each separately, but all together!"
On the Maps section of the Big Cleanup website, you can either submit an organized cleanup on the Big Cleanup map or mark your individual effort on the SOLO map.
The website also shows a Map of Polluted Places to consider for cleanup.
Along with the activities of the Big Cleanup, for the third year in a row, communities are invited to share ideas on what would help Latvia become more sustainable by participating in the Ideju Talka (Brainstorm of Sustainability) creative campaign.
The Big Cleanup is a non-governmental movement in Latvia, which is organized throughout the country since 2008.
