Since the beginning of the pandemic, 904,090 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.
The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,954. The latest victim was aged over 80 years.
Tuesday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 214 patients being treated in hospitals, eight of whom are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
