75% of Latvia's adult population have begun vaccination

At least 75% of Latvia's adult residents have received at least one shot against Covid-19, according to November 11 estimates by LETA, using data from the National Health Service (NVD) and the Central Statistical Bureau.

According to those data, 73.69% of residents over 12 and 75.39% of residents over 18 have got the first dose or a single-dose vaccine against Covid-19. Vaccination has been completed by 65.84% of the population over 12 and 67.63% of the population over 18.

In total, 64.62% of the population have received the first jab or the single-dose vaccine, while 57.82% of the population have completed the vaccination course.

Vaccination rates have remained at high levels over the past month, significantly exceeding the summer and early autumn rates. The number of vaccinated people during the last month was at least 80,000 people per week.
