So far in Latvia, around 66.9% of the total population have completed vaccination.
Meanwhile, among the elderly, the vaccination coverage is 80.6%. Dividing by age group it is the following:
- 60-69 years - 84.5%
- 70-79 years - 81.1%
- 80-89 years - 73.9%,
- 90 and over - 57.1%.
Overall, there are still more than 102,000 seniors in Latvia who have not yet been vaccinated against Covid-19, according to Pavļuts.
