Children will no longer be required to show a Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificate to receive services or attend events, government decided on February 15.

The only epidemiological security measures that are maintained in the age group 5-18 are screening in educational establishments and wearing masks.

The draft amendments of the Cabinet (MK) state that, taking into account the declining trend of the spread of Covid-19 among children, epidemiological security measures for children may be canceled, both for participation in the educational process, interest education, as well as for visiting events and for receiving services.

The requirement for children without a Covid-19 vaccination or recovery certificate to participate in events or to receive services only accompanied by adults with these certificates is subsequently abolished.

Consequently, children who do not have a vaccination or recovery certificate will be free to receive any services or attend events.

This particular regulation is in force until the end of the emergency, February 28. Additional relief for security measures will come into force as from March 1.
