Last week, from August 29 to September 4 , Latvia experienced a decrease in new Covid-19 cases of 10.4%. The reduction in the number of new cases is observed in all regions of Latvia and in all age groups.
The number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals increased by 1%. An average of 29 people were hospitalized daily.
Overall, there is a stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the European Union.
The SPKC recalled that the prevention measures of Covid-19 still should be followed.
