European Medicines Agency on Covid-19 vaccine rollout

At 14:00 Rīga time on January 8 the European Medicines Agency (EMA) is organising an online open event to explain the basis for the approval and use of the new Covid-19 vaccines and how the safety of the vaccines will be assured in the European Union.

It will also provide information on the roles of the European Commission and national public health authorities in the roll-out of the vaccines.

The discussion takes place in English.
