In the spring of this year, a number of measures were introduced in the health sector to ensure the epidemiological safety of the population and to provide care for patients infected with COVID-19. Treatment and diagnosis of COVID-19 patients and patients suspected of being infected with this disease was to be compensated by State budget resources.
Of the additional €3.2 million allocated:
- €2.4 million will be directed to cover the costs of organizing and carrying out laboratory tests;
- €667 thousand will be devoted to the payment of ambulatory services;
- €143 thousand will be directed to the payment of hospitalization services.
