Applications for a time slot are already open on manavakcina.lv and by phone on 8989. Seniors can go to receive the vaccine without a prior application on both days from 9:00 to 10:00.

The Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine requires only one dose for the cycle to be completed, so its use is hoped to give a much-needed boost to completed vaccination rates. Protection is said to begin 14 days after receiving the shot.
