Latvia receives biggest vaccine batch so far

On April 29 Latvia received 64,800 AstraZeneca vaccines, which is the biggest delivery so far, Health Ministry said in a release.

All these vaccines will be saved for second-dose shots, since there is uncertainty about supplies on the manufacturer's side, Health Minister Daniels Pavļuts said on Twitter.

Latvia has so far used 136,401 AstraZeneca doses. These vaccines have been used the most and are also ordered by Latvia in the largest quantity of all approved manufacturers.
