Out of 2,485 tests carried out in the past 24 hours, 13% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 of the population continued to fall from 457.1 Saturday to 449.9 Sunday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 817,316 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

No Covid-related deaths were confirmed over the past 24 hours. The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic stands at 5,728.
Saturday hospital data from the National Health Service show 345 patients being treated in hospitals. 37 patients were admitted and 70 were discharged during the previous 24 hours. 10 patients are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
