Over the five day period 827 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed.
Of 6,027 tests carried out, 13.7% were positive. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population remained stable, barely moving from 161 last Wednesday to 160 Monday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 833,711 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

The total death toll since the beginning of the pandemic remains at 5,855.
Monday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 120 patients being treated in hospitals, 6 of whom are displaying serious symptoms.

If you have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19, or you have fully recovered from a confirmed case of it, you can obtain a digital certificate attesting to your status at the website https://covid19sertifikats.lv.
