Of 6,057 tests carried out over the past three days, 25.6% were positive, resulting in 1,550 confirmed new cases of infection. The 14-day cumulative incidence rate per 100,000 population continued its climb from 464 Friday to 498 Monday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 846,530 Covid-19 cases have now been recorded among Latvia's 1.9 million population.

Friday hospital data from the National Health Service (NVD) show 133 patients being treated in hospitals, one of whom is displaying serious symptoms.
