Between October 24 and October 30, the number of new cases of Covid-19 in Latvia decreased by 19.5% compared to the previous week, with 3,521 new cases of Covid-19 reported.
Infection reproduction rate decreased to 0.84.
During the previous week, the number of cases of Covid-19 decreased in all regions of Latvia. The incidence of Covid-19 continues to decrease in all age groups, but in the 20-29 age group the rate of reduction is slower than in other age groups.
The reduction in morbidity continues throughout Europe, the SPKC said.
