Anyone looking for a bargain in the New Year sales can also take advantage of a parallel special offer: a free booster vaccine against Covid-19.

From January 3, people who already have an interoperable vaccination or recovery certificate will be able to receive the booster vaccine at the Akropole and Alfa malls indoors in specially set-up vaccination points. The service will be available by prior appointment.

The booster vaccines can be received at the shopping and entertainment centre Akropole every day from 10:00 to 20:00, while the service in the shopping centre Alfa will be available on weekdays from 10:30 to 19:00, weekends from 10:30 to 18:00. When visiting the vaccination points, residents need to bring a personal identity document (passport or ID card).

The vaccination point in Akropole is located on the 1st floor hallway between the E and F entrances, while in Alfa it is located on the 1st floor, opposite the Cenuklubs store.

To apply for the booster vaccine, residents need to schedule a prior appointment by calling 8989 or applying on the website www.manavakcina.lv.

Vaccination possibilities in wagons located outside the entrances to the malls are no longer available. For those who need to take a Covid-19 test, Covid-19 testing points continue to operate outside the Akropole E entrance and the Alfa Cinema entrance.
