From October 31 to November 6, 2,874 new cases of Covid-19 were recorded. The number of Covid-19 cases decreased in almost all regions of Latvia, but in Vidzeme it rose. In all age groups, the incidence of Covid-19 continues to decrease.
The rate of infection reproduction (R) increased slightly to 0.87.
The number of patients in hospitals decreased by 12.5%.
The Disease Prevention and Control Centre reminded the public that vaccines against Covid-19 Omicron are available in family doctor practices and vaccination offices. It is also possible to get a flu jab at the same time.
