In 2024, it is 74 years since the Schuman Declaration laid the first foundation stone for what would eventually become the European Union.
This year, Latvia marked 20 years of accession to the European Union, and Europe Day is celebrated together with that.
Latvian Foreign Ministry posted a special message by several ambassadors and Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braže.
