The Latvian national airline airBaltic plans to partially resume flights to Brussels Zaventem Airport on Wednesday, reported LETA Monday.

Initially airBaltic will only be making the evening flights to Brussels, spokesman Jānis Vanags, told LETA, adding that morning flights might be resumed in May at the earliest.

Brussels Airport was closed down after two bomb attacks on March 22 claimed by the Islamic State which killed 35 people but reopened on April 3 with a Brussels Airlines flight which departed for Faro, Portugal.
