At the warehouse in Rīga, Ventspils Street 50, people bring their donations, and Ukrainians come to collect them. However, a large cargo of aid will be delivered to Ukraine next week, which everyone has been asked to help fill. “Mostly we need dry food, hygiene products,” said Kaspars Bērziņš, volunteer for the association.
Furniture, windows and doors, and equipment for hospitals are also planned to be delivered to Ukraine. School goods will be particularly useful when approaching the beginning of the school year. Volunteers are also very welcome to help in the warehouse. “If someone is thinking how a vacation could be meaningful, then we are looking forward [to people helping],” said Bērziņš.
The warehouse on Ventspils Street 50 is open every day from 10 to 18. The donated aid goods will go to Ukraine to people in need of these goods.
