The author of the new edition of the Christmas series is the artist Ģirts Grīva. A special festive envelope will also be issued in 1,000 copies.

Each of the stamps has a different nominal value and circulation, the mouse outscoring the mouser and the canine left in the middle.
The new postage stamps and envelopes will initially be purchased in the 10th mail department of Riga on Elizabetes Street 41/43 and in the postal center Sakta, Brīvības Boulevard 32, Riga, as well as in the Latvian Post's e-shop.
