Latvia's changing colors of the fall seen from space

The color shift of the fall can be seen from space as well. Even though the difference on the ground is a lot more striking, space too can be a testimony to how the forests and meadows of Latvia have shed their green to pave the way for what Latvians call the 'golden autumn'.

It is more on the brown side here though, but there is some yellow showing too up close.

The photos were taken by NASA satellites on August 5 and October 15 at the opportune times when the sky was clear over Latvia.
