LTV's viewership share during the midsummer celebrations was at 21.2%, down from 25.5% last year.
The quiz show VIP - Veiksme. Intuīcija. Prāts (Luck, intuition and the mind) was the most popular show in Latvia with a viewership of 121,800.
TV3 was the second most-watched channel in June attracting 9.3% of the total viewing time while LNT came third with 7.6% of the viewing time.
In June Latvian viewers spent around four hours and seven minutes at a TV screen a day, three minutes more than in May.
Latvian Television is owned by the state joint-stock company “Latvia State Radio and Television Centre”. It also owns the Latvian Radio stations and, by extension, the LSM news portals in Latvian, Russian and English.
