NATO jets scramble for Russian attack plane

NATO’s Baltic Air Patrol (BAP) pilots took off Easter Monday from the Siauliai airbase in Lithuania to identify a Russian Air Force ‘Fencer’ in international airspace near Latvia's maritime border over the Baltic Sea, reported the National Armed Forces on its Twitter feed.

'Fencer' is the alliance’s codename for the supersonic fighter Sukhoi SU-24.
