Two special flights brought home Latvian holidaymakers from Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt over the weekend in response to the increased risk of terorrism after the downing of a Russian airliner.
The special airBaltic flights repatriated around 280 Latvians and will be the last Latvia-bound flights to leave the Egyptian airport as a ban on future flights comes into effect.
The ban will remain in effect indefinitely until the air safety regulators say they can be safely resumed.
