The politician said that the Constitutional Court also stated that minimum income thresholds should be reviewed.
Siliņa noted that the cost of services paid by the Ministry of Welfare, such as assistant services, should also be increased by raising the minimum wage in the country. The government will still discuss the implementation of budget resources for its purpose. She didn't name a specific amount but noted it needed no less than €20 million.
Siliņa emphasized that increasing the minimum income thresholds would be the absolute minimum to be done in the field of welfare.
