Rain is possible across the country in the morning, heaviest in Latgale but wet snow and snow will replace it as the day progresses. In many places, the ground will be white, but a layer of snow will only form in places in eastern Latvia, mostly in Vidzeme and Sēlija.
Westerly, northwesterly winds will intensify over the course of the day, with gusts reaching 10-15 meters per second, in coastal counties up to 16-20 meters per second.
The air temperature will be +1 C to +6 C in the morning but it will drop to -1 C to -3 C in the evening, ice can form on the roads.
