During the night to Sunday, there will be rain throughout Latvia, including heavy rain and thunder. The morning will be cool with no sign of upcoming heat but during the day, in most of the country, the air will heat to +29 C to +33 C.
The night to Monday will hold a temperature of +20 C to +25 C and, very likely, it will become the warmest night in Latvia's history.
Until now, the warmest night records belong on June 23, 2021, when temperature in Rīga was +24.1 C in the early morning.
On Monday, thunderstorms will pass through Latvia, which can carry storms and hail. Then the weather will get cooler.
