Monday will be rather cloudy, with no rainfall expected. In the majority of the country, the temperatures will be +15 C to +20 C in the afternoon. On Tuesday afternoon, air temperatures are expected to rise to +20 to +25 C, the weather will get hotter in the middle of the week, and on Thursday temps could step up to +28 C in Kurrzeme and Zemgale. A slightly lower temperature is expected over the weekend.
Nights will also get warmer, and the frost on Monday could be the final spring frost this year.
The weather will be mostly dry and sunny, with mostly slow winds expected.
In June there will likely be a long-term anticyclone, and drought will destroy a large part of the expected harvest, but fire risks in the forests may become extremely high.
Drought will also increase the likelihood of heat records this summer.
