On Thursday night, the rain will start in Kurzeme, then travel to Zemgale and Vidzeme, including Rīga. In the afternoon rainfall and thunderstorms are expected in the east of the country.
Air temperature will reach +19 C to +24 C on Thursday, hotter in Latgale and eastern Vidzeme.
Over the weekend, the weather will be mostly sunny and dry, although on Friday and Saturday, local rain clouds can form.
Air temperatures will fall on weekend nights at +9 C to +14, but during the days +20 C to +25 C.
Current forecasts show that on Sunday night, when the final concert of the Song and Dance Festival takes place, the weather will be dry in Riga, the evening will be moderately warm, while temperatures during the night will be between +14 and +16 C.
