Thursday morning will be cloudy, with precipitation in most parts of the country in the form of rain or sleet. In the afternoon things should start to improve, with rain continuing only in Kurzeme region.
In the rest of the country, the sky will clear and the temperature will rise to between +7 and +12 degrees Celsius, and possiby as high as +15 in Rīga and the south of the country, while in Kurzeme it will be cooler.
The good news is that the weather will be mostly sunny over the long Easter holiday from Friday to Monday, though with some cloudy patches, particularly in Kurzeme. Winds will mostly be gentle and from the northeast and east. The air temperature in the afternoons will reach from +11 to +16 degrees across most of the country. Again, Kurzeme and coastal areas will be a few degrees cooler.
