On weekend nights the air temperature will fall to +2 C at lowest, on average +2 C to +7 C, warmer on the coast. In Vidzeme and Latgale there could be frost at grass height.
In the afternoons, the air temperature will reach +16 C to +21 C, Sunday could be slightly warmer. Slow to moderate northeast winds will prevail.
Next week, weather in Latvia will be determined by a strong anticyclone, and it will be sunny and dry. At the beginning of the week, the nights will still be cool - the minimum temperature around +4 C to +9 C, but in the afternoons the air will warm to +19 C to +24 C.
Temperatures will continue to rise in the second half of the week, in the afternoons it can reach the 30-degree mark for the first time this year.
