Weekend will bring no weather changes in Latvia

The weather will get cooler in Latvia next week, according to forecasts.

No major changes to weather are expected during the weekend. It will rain rather frequently, the sky will be mostly overcast, mist and fog are expected. Slow southern and eastern winds will blow.

The air temperature on Saturday and Sunday, both night and day, will be within +2 C to +9 C.

Temperatures will slowly drop next week. Monday and Tuesday it will be within +1 C to +8 C, but in the second half of the week some frost is expected in many places at night, and temperatures are unlikely to slip below -2 C.

There will be little precipitation next week, but some rain and snow is possible at times. Roads can be icy.

Long-term forecasts suggest that by the end of the month - as early as November 20 - it is likely to get warmer again, bringing the chance of proper frost and snow to be low in the next two weeks.
