This weekend's weather will remain mostly dry and sunny, with short-term rains on Sunday in the southwest of Kurzeme. There will be a slow wind, and a moderate sea breeze is expected in the afternoons.
The peak air temperature on Saturday and Sunday will be +20 C to +24 C, slightly cooler on the coast. Consequently, the warmest weekend since the summer of last year is expected.
Nights will still be cool – in most of the country, air temperatures will be +3 C to +9 C at sunrise.
On Monday, air temperatures are likely to be at +25 C, while due to rain clouds on Tuesday it will likely not reach +20 C.
Rain is also likely to continue next week.
