At the beginning of the week, rainy weather will be brought to Latvia. There may also be thunderstorms and stronger wind gusts, which will subside over the weekend, forecasts the Latvian Environment, Geology, and Meteorology Center. On Monday and the weekend, the air temperatures will average at +20 C to +25 C, while in the middle of the week, it will be significantly cooler at +12 C to +17 C.
On Monday, the clouds will partially cover the sky, mainly in the evening there will be a temporary rainstorm, with strong gusts of wind. The air temperature will range between +22 C to +26 C, cooler on the coast in Kurzeme.
On Tuesday night and in the morning, rain clouds will cross the country from the southwest, and it will be raining during the day with possible thunderstorms. The air temperature will not reach +20 C.
In the middle of the week, rains are forecast in the central and eastern parts of the country. The air temperature will mainly remain below +20 C. At night, the sky clearing, the temperatures could drop as low as +1 C.
The night will be the coolest on Friday, but over the weekend the temperatures will rise to +20 C or higher during the day.
