Roads will be slippery and there will be reduced visibility in the blizzard. There will be less clouds on the day starting in the west of the country, with some expected to see some snow.
Southern, southeastern wind speeds will reach 12-17 meters per second in gusts overnight. Starting in Kurzeme, the wind will get slower. As the day progresses, the wind will turn in from the west, southwest, on the coast it will intensify again in gusts of up to 15 meters per second.
The minimum overnight air temperature will be -5 C to -10 C, east to -14 C, the maximum daily temperature is expected from +1 degrees in Kurzeme on the West Bank to -7 C in northeastern Latvia.
