Take note – story published 1 year ago

This week, the weather will gradually get warmer and next weekend, the air temperature in Latvia may reach the 20 degrees Celsius mark for the first time this year, according to weatherman Toms Bricis.

Until Wednesday, the sky will often be cloudy and there will be periods of rain, but the second half of the week proises to be dry and sunny... becoming even drier and sunnier in time for the weekend.

Until midweek cool northeasterly and northerly winds will prevail. Air temperatures at night will be within the range of +1 to +7 Celsius with daytime temperatures in the range +10 C to +15 C. It will be a few degrees cooler along the coast of the Gulf of Riga and Kurzeme at around +8 C to +9 C.

In the second half of the week, the temperature will gradually rise and could reach +20 C in some places during the weekend, though temperatures  will probably fall short of that mark in many places. Despite generally clear skies, scattered showers remain a possibility.
