Rain is expected in eastern regions overnight and in the morning and during the day in most parts of the country, with heavy rain in Kurzeme. Fog is expected in many places during the night and in the morning, with minimum temperatures of 0 to +5 C. In the afternoon and evening, the south wind will increase, with temperatures ranging between +6 C and +10 C.
On Saturday evening and Sunday night, southwest wind gusts up to 15-20 meters per second are possible in many parts of Latvia, while during the night the wind will subside, clouds will become less and the air temperature will drop to -1 to +4 C. On Sunday the sun will shine, rain is possible mainly in Latgale, and the maximum temperature will be +4 C to +9 C.
In the first half of next week, it will also rain occasionally, and temperatures are not expected to drop below freezing at night, while daytime temperatures may reach +10 C in places.
Water levels in rivers are expected to rise due to rain and snowmelt in Vidzeme and Latgale.
