In many places, the rain will be long-lasting and heaviest in the afternoon and evening. The amount of precipitation during the day will reach 10-15 millimeters in places in Kurzeme and Vidzeme, which is about a third of the monthly norm.
A gusty southwest wind will blow, but it will be realtively warm with temperatures in the range of + 6 to +11 degrees Celsius.
In Riga, it will rain a little in the morning, but for a long time in the afternoon, with a moderate southwesterly wind. The air temperature in the capital will be around +10 C.
Conditions are expected to be similar on Friday and Saturday with warm, wet weather dominating. On Sunday, the temperature will drop by a few degrees, but it will become significantly colder at the beginning of next week with frost and snow making a comeback.
