The sun will shine on Saturday, and in the evening there will be rain in the western and central parts of the country. The air temperature at sunrise will be between -1 C to -3 C in many places, +10 C to +15 C in the afternoon.
On Sunday night, the rain clouds will move towards the eastern regions, the day will mostly be sunny, but still rainy in Latgale, and there will be a chill of the western wind. Air temperatures will not sink below +2 C to +7 C at night, the maximum daily temperature is expected to range from +7 C coastal to +14 C in Sēlija.
On Monday, the first day of May, the sun will occasionally be obscured by clouds that will bring temporary rain in Vidzeme and Latgale in some places. In the afternoon, the temperature will range between +11 C to +15 C.
According to current forecasts, on Tuesday, temperatures will reach +18 C but it will get cooler from Wednesday. Occasionally, hail and snow are also expected, and in the coldest nights air temperatures in a large part of the country will fall below zero.
Weather is expected to get warmer in the second week of May. In mid-May, summer weather could set in.
