On Sunday, rains and thunderstorms will start from Kurzeme and move across the country later in the day. Maximum air temperature in Kurzeme and Zemgale will be +17 C to +21 Cbut in the rest of the country +22 C to +26 C.
Rain is often expected next week, and the temperatures will be similar to this week's, but there will be a more pronounced trend of cooler weather in the west and hotter in the east.
