After days of generally unpredictable weather, the weekend will be sunnier and with less precipitation, although Saturday will still be quite cool.

Firday will still see clouds and rain across Kurzeme, Zemgala and Rīga, and heavy rainfall with thunderstorms here and there, and wind will blow in gusts of 9 to 14 m/s.

The maximum air temperature will be around +16..+21 degrees Celsius.

In the evening clouds will dissolve rapidly and no precipitation is expected in most of the country. The temperature at night will be around +8..+13 degrees and a bit warmer on the coastal regions.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, but clouds will gather during the day, some of them big enough to rain down. On the afternoon there'll be short spells of rain in Kurzeme and central regions. The maximum air temperature will be +16..+21 degrees.

Sunday will be clear throughout. The day will be sunny and there'll be some fog during nighttime. The minimum temperature will be +8..+13 at night and +18..+23 degrees Celsius at day.

The next week will gradually become hotter, with temperatures probably reaching +30 degrees in the latter half of the week.
