On Monday some rain is possible in southern Latgale, but elsewhere the weather will be sunny and dry, and the air temperature will be +25..+28 degrees Celsius, and somewhat cooler at +21..+24 degrees in the coastal regions.
Tuesday will be clear and sunny. The air temperature will lower to +12..+17 degrees Celsius at night and reach +25..+30 during the day, while on Wednesday there'll be some thunderstorms and the temperature will shoot up to +14..+19 at night, +27..+32 during the day.
During the second half of the week the temperature will lower, especially in the eastern regions of Latvia. The minimum temperature will be at +10..+16 during the night, while the maximum will be +22..+28 during the day. On Thursday there'll be rain and thunder, but Friday and Saturday will probably be clear and sunny.
As of now, thunderstorms are predicted for Sunday, and the temperature will be +26..+31 degrees. The weather is likely to stay hot until August 20 or 22.
